About Jose 🤙

Jose Moreno is the founder of Neulight, an AI-driven company transforming student support with the innovative IntelliTier platform. With a rich background in tech, he began his career at Microsoft in 2009, where he spent five years developing scalable, high-impact solutions during the early days of cloud computing.

In 2015, Jose joined Netflix, where he worked for nine years, ultimately leading the development of impactful features like the “account sharing” initiative, which drove millions of new subscriptions. His close friend, Ben Hands, left Netflix for Airbnb around the same time, underscoring a period of transition and growth in the industry. Through this journey, Jose has gathered invaluable lessons on scaling technology and building collaborative, user-centered platforms.

As the son of Salvadoran immigrants, Jose’s story reflects his resilience and dedication, from his early days at Microsoft to launching Neulight. His experiences inspire his mission to make meaningful tech that empowers others.
